Product Description
IPWatcher provides web site operators with a cost-effective site monitoring service that is reliable, robust, and extremely easy to use. The service is provided as an outsourced solution and does not require users to make any modifications to their web sites or to install any software on their servers. A new user can be up and running in under 10 minutes.
IPWatcher users are notified via email, instant messenger, and/or cell phone whenever their web sites are down or not functioning properly. This service can help prevent lost sales and upset site visitors that result from a non-responsive or improperly operating web site. Timely notification of just one outage can easily save a small to medium sized business hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
IPWatcher can monitor regular web pages, secure web pages, FTP servers, and other network resources and can thoroughly test web applications such as submission forms, search engines, and shopping carts.
Monitoring packages start at just $9.95 per month, which is substantially less expensive than most competitive services. There is a one-time $19.95 sign-up fee.
Target Market
The core target market of the IPWatcher service is small and medium sized businesses with web sites. Of particular focus are those sites that conduct e-commerce or perform mission critical customer service and/or operational functions.
IPWatcher currently monitors hundreds of websites for small businesses and Fortune 500 companies alike.
